Conference Venue
The 2024 Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs will be held in person from Friday, September 13 through Sunday, September 15, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame. The venue is located one block south of the campus of the University of Notre Dame.
Conference Host and Sponsors
The Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies provides a forum for integrated and multidisciplinary research and teaching on Asia. It supports innovative projects that actively combine teaching, research, and social engagement, creating a unique model of rounded education on Asia. The Institute also promotes general awareness, understanding, and knowledge of Asia through organizing public events, supporting student and faculty scholarship, and engaging with partners in Asia.
The Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies is part of the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, advancing integral human development through research, policy, and practice.
Additional support for the 2024 Midwest Conference on Asian Affairs is provided by the Henkels Lecture Fund, Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, and the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures in the College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame.
